Celana is an ultra-modern athlete meeting all the requirements for the highest level of the international showjumping scene. She stands out with quick reflexes and an incredidibly athletic way to move. In the course she just elates her rider being careful and so scopey at the same time. Being a class of her own, this quality mare made a sensation by winning classes at her very first shows. Celana is just made for the top sports.
Celana is actually honouring a genetical promise. Her sire Cellestial was an internationally successful showjumper himself and turned out to be one of the best showjumping producers in Germany. One of his most successful sons, the licensed stallion Chap I, is Celana’s full brother! Ridden by his breeder Heiko Schmidt (GER) and by Pius Schwizer (CH) and Abdullah Al-Sharbatly (KSA) later on, this Chap I jumped at 1.60m-level, but more notably, he sired the individual European champion in showjumping, DSP Chakaria, who took the gold medal in Riesenbeck in 2021 ridden by Germany’s André Thieme. There are another two full siblings of Celana and Chap I jumping at the higher level, the licensed Chap II (1.60m) and Cinchilla (1.40). At the same time this Chinchilla has produced another two successful horses by Quintero, the 1.45m-winner Qualle und the 1.50m-winner Quincy 200, distinguishing Celanas dam Cora as an outstanding broodmare. Cora‘s sire Contender was one of the most renowned Holsteiner stallions of his generation.
